How to Send a Broadcast Message to Telegram Contacts

1 min read

The Broadcast Tool in ChitChatBot.ai allows you to send messages to multiple Telegram contacts at once. It’s ideal for sending announcements, promotions, product updates, event reminders, and more—automatically and efficiently.

🚀 Steps to Send a Telegram Broadcast

✅ Step 1: Create Your Broadcast Flow

  1. Navigate to Menu > Flows.
  2. Click the ➕ Add button to create a new flow.
  3. Build the message you want to send. This can include text, buttons, media, or links—just like any regular chatbot flow.
  4. Save and publish your flow when you’re done.

💡 Tip: Use the Omnichannel message type in your flow to ensure it’s compatible across multiple platforms, or select Telegram if you want the message to be Telegram-specific.

✅ Step 2: Send Your Flow to Telegram Contacts

  1. Go to Menu > Broadcasts.
  2. Click Create Broadcast.
  3. Choose Telegram as the target channel.
  4. Select your previously created flow as the message content.
  5. Choose your audience—filter contacts by tags, user attributes, or send to all Telegram contacts.
  6. Click Send or Schedule to deliver the broadcast immediately or at a later time.

🔐 Compliance Tip

Telegram doesn’t have the same requirements as SMS or Meta Channels, but it’s still good practice to:

  • Only send broadcasts to users who have interacted with your bot.
  • Avoid sending too many promotional messages to prevent user fatigue.
