🚀 Getting Started with Appointment Scheduling
1. Create Your Calendar
📍 Go to:
Tools>Appointment Scheduling→ Click Add

Set your availability: This is the most important step. Your calendar will only offer slots based on this.

Chitchatbot.ai will automatically generate:
A confirmation flow
- A reminder flow
✏️ You can customize these flows anytime under
Flows. Just look for flows named after your calendar.
2. Connect Google or Outlook Calendar (Optional but recommended)
By connecting your external calendar:

Appointments booked via your bot are auto-synced to your Google/Outlook calendar.

Your external calendar availability is used to prevent double bookings.

Users automatically receive a calendar invitation via email.
🔔 Important: Be sure to collect the user’s email address before scheduling so they receive the invite.
3. Share Your Scheduling Link in Conversations
There are three main ways to share your booking link:
🔗 A. Share via the Bot

Go to:
Tools>Appointment Scheduling -
Click the menu icon next to the calendar → Copy your scheduling link.

Use the link in a button (for channels that support buttons + URLs).
💬 For SMS or channels that don’t support buttons, send the link as plain text.
📨 B. Share from the Inbox

In live chats, click the Calendar icon inside the Inbox.

This lets you quickly send the scheduling link to any user manually.
4. View Scheduled Appointments
📍 Go to:
Tools>Appointment Scheduling> Appointments
From here, you can:

View all upcoming bookings

Manage customer data
-
Reschedule or cancel appointments
