Sending broadcast messages on WhatsApp is a powerful way to engage with your audience, whether you’re sharing updates, promotions, or important announcements. With app.chitchatbot.ai, you can easily create and send broadcast messages to multiple contacts or groups without the hassle of manual messaging. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you get started.
A WhatsApp broadcast message allows you to send a single message to multiple recipients at once. Unlike group messages, broadcast messages are sent individually to each recipient, ensuring privacy and a personalised experience.
Step-by-Step Guide to Sending Broadcast Messages
1. Log in to app.chitchatbot.ai
Click on “Broadcasts” within the left-side menu in the dashboard.

2. Setup your message
On Broadcasts click “Send” and then select the channel you want to send the broadcast message on. In this guide we will using “WhatsApp” – make sure to click it. If you can’t see your preferred channel please make sure it’s connected to your account.
Click on “Continue” on “active contacts within 24 hours” this means your message will only be sent to people who interacted with your bot in the 24 hours. To send outside of the 24 hours we need to use Template Message (we will discuss this further down).

3. Select your flow
Choose the flow you want to send. If you haven’t already, you can create a new flow that includes your message. Once ready, you can either send it immediately or schedule it for later. Finally, decide who to send it to – either your entire audience or a specific segment using filters/conditions. Once complete hit “Send”.

Sending WhatsApp Template Message
To message contacts who haven’t interacted with your bot in the last 24 hours, you’ll need to use a WhatsApp Template Message.
To do this via broadcast, first create and publish a flow using your approved WhatsApp template.

Go to Broadcast > select the WhatsApp channel > choose Template Message.
